Halloween Party!

Megan and Richie with their little monkey.
Denae and Andrew: Love the mullet Andrew!
Heather and Patrick: Scuba divers that found their Little Nemo.

Our family of Bees, of course Jake was the beekeeper of us all! Jake carved the pumpkin the night before. Pretty impressive. I had to add the picture of Kambree with her cute beanie on that Richie made for her. Megan you have a pretty talented husband! I could have never figured out how to make such a cute hat. Thank you to all of you that were able to come even if we didn't get your picture :( It was great to see you and be able to celebrate with you.

A week of no sleep!

So last weekend we went to Spring City with our friends Richie and Megan. Kambree had a really hard time going down for naps and we thought it was probably because she was excited about the new place and wanted to see everything. When we got home we noticed she was getting her top teeth and still wouldn't go down for her naps without a big fight. I spent the whole week trying to get her to sleep until finally on Friday we let her cry it out. It took her 45 minutes of crying but she finally fell asleep and seemed super rested in the morning. :) We even got to sleep an extra hour this morning. What a great thing to have Tough Love.

We went to the park by Timpanogas Temple
to take some pictures. Too bad some are blurry. :(
I told Jake we need another camera, AGAIN.

I love this face, she is so happy!

Sequoia is exhausted after chasing her ball
for about an hour.

Girlfriend's crazy hair after finally taking
a much needed nap.
Feeding the horses by our house. Kambree
loved the horses and wouldn't stop staring
at them.:)

Bree Bug needs more supervision!

The last couple of days have been sort of crazy with Kambree. She has started to scoot more on her butt to move around. She refuses to try to crawl right now but we'll see if she picks up on it soon. A couple days ago I was spending too much time on Facebook when I heard Kambree gagging. I looked down and her face was red. I felt in her mouth but couldn't feel anything. I didn't panic but was scared. I started to hit her on the back and she then threw up a little milk. When I felt in her mouth again I pulled out a huge piece of stuffing from one of Sequoia's toys. That day I cleaned everything and told myself I need to watch her closer. Well of course she is a sneaky little thing. Today she got my moisturizer that I had hidden on the other side of the couch. She somehow unscrewed the lid and was just dipping her finger in and eating like it was ice cream. I hurried and stopped her but of course got a picture, as I giggle about it. Afterwards I thought I better call Poison Control just to make sure she is ok. The guy couldn't believe that an 8 month old was able to unscrew a lid, but I told him this isn't the first time she has done it. He then proceeded to tell me nothing would harm her but it would more than likely act like a laxative. I have definitely realized this last week that I need to watch her more. She is so curious and wants to explore everything. And even though she can't crawl she still manages to find a way to get to things.

Fall is in the air.

I know it's been cold this week but I honestly have loved the weather. I love the smell outside and how I just get excited for all the holidays and spending more time with family and friends. I went and got Kambree's pictures done today to show off her cute little bee outfit we got her for Halloween. I was so grateful I had dressed her in cute clothes because we got cuter pictures of those. Kambree was so distracted by all the fun decorations and just wanted to put everything in her mouth to taste it. I spent more money than I expected to but o well it was worth it. I'm so excited for our fun weekend coming up. My Grandpa turned 90 yesterday and we are doing a surprise birthday party for him on Sunday and doing a big family picture with everyone. I feel blessed to have my grandparents still in my life. I am so close to them since they helped raise me through my mother's fight with Leukemia and after she passed away. Also on the list this weekend is to get the fall decorations up. I asked Jake a week ago to get out the box of decorations but I think he forgot so I may send him a gentle reminder tonight :)
