Catching up

It's been awhile since a post and I have a few pictures to share. On May 4th it was our 7th anniversary. Jake took me to The Melting Pot for dinner. It was so yummy! We got the artichoke cheese fondue and a salad. We also had all the meat to cook and then had the Flaming Turtle for dessert. It was so much fun to have a night out and splurge a little since we don't usually spend $100 on one meal :)

Flowers from Jake. He always has been so good at giving me flowers all the time.
 I love this man!

I think dessert was my favorite, the cheesecake was delicious!

We also had a chance to go to Spring City with some of our new neighbors, Heidi and Matt. Or as Kambree calls them "Minnie and Map". I think she calls Matt, Map, because on Dora they always sing a song about the map and it sounds similar. And I think she thinks Heidi looks like Minnie Mouse. :) Whatever her reasoning I find it hilarious. We had a great time really doing nothing other than eating and sitting on our butts playing games.

Kambree's favorite thing to do: Throw rocks and explore

Jake and "Map" indulging in smores.

 Cute "Minnie"
Playing games outside. This is the first day that Kambree started getting really sick, thank heavens she is doing better now. It was miserable watching her just lie around with a fever for 7 days.

Last: I was scrolling through old pictures and found this cute one of my baby bump in January.

Now it is huge!

Didn't dare show the full body shot of me in a swimsuit! I am measuring a week and a half ahead of what I really am but the doctor said it is because the baby is still sitting really high. Jake seems to like telling me it's because the baby is going to be big! Not my favorite thing to hear. :) Only 4 more days until my induction day and we will find out what this cute little baby is. I honestly don't know. I have gone back and forth so many times from boy to girl. I think a girl, but everyone else thinks a boy so it throws my off. We will be so happy with either! I have finally finished up the baby's room and Kambree's room is all done except for her cute quilt that Noni is making for her. I can't wait until it is done. She has done such a great job on it. Here are some pics of the rooms.

Jake helped me make the letters. It was fun to see his crafty side.
Curtains I made thanks to my friend Heather for the idea. They are so nice, they unbutton and cover the whole window so that the room stays dark.

Thanks to my friend Shyla for helping me learn how to do vinyl lettering for super cheap on the cricut.

We decorated a lot with birds since we don't know the gender of the baby. Jake helped out with making the branch and little bird nest.

I am so happy with the curtains I made, they turned out so cute!

Now just to get this little guy or gal here!

It's almost here!

I say "it" because we still have no idea what we are having. I am getting so anxious to find out what this little baby is. I hope it will be as exciting as I dream it will be to wait all the way to the end. Everyone keeps asking me what I think the baby is. At first I thought a girl and then everyone was telling me I was having a boy and they were sure of it. So I really was confused. But I still feel it is a girl so I guess we shall see. It would be fun to be so thrown off and have them say, "it's a boy!" Jake says he has no idea what we are having. I think he has an opinion but he just won't tell me. I just told him to make sure he doesn't pick some crazy weird name since he gets to choose. I can't believe that I am 3 and half weeks away from the baby getting here. I am so excited yet nervous. I keep wondering how I did everything with Bree. My cousin Anne took some maternity pictures for us. It was so fun to go to the tulip festival and just enjoy looking at the beautiful flowers. She did such a great job.

Finally it's warm!

I have to say that I am not like everyone else out there that is dying to have it be summer. I have loved the cool weather with all the rain because it means that I am not sweating like crazy. I am so happy that I only have 5 more weeks until my induction day. I can't imagine going through the whole summer being pregnant! The last couple of days have seemed super hot to me even though we are only in the 70's. I have to sleep with the window open every night and with no covers. Kambree wants to go outside all the time and so I have already pulled out our swimming pool so that I can enjoy feeling cool and she can have fun playing in the water.

Filling up the pool, this was her favorite part until we borrowed a sprinkler from the neighbor.

She loved copying Jake and doing all the stuff he was doing.
Surprisingly she really liked this, I was worried she would be crying.

The whole family! Except me of course, I don't feel too comfortable getting my picture taken in my swimsuit while being pregnant.

The best part was after when I got her dressed and we were still playing outside. Kambree told Jake she was cold so he told her to go inside. She went in and got her hat and mittens on. We were laughing so hard.
