These Animals Go Everywhere with Her Lately....

I am now dreading all the cute beanie babies we have to put in her stocking for Christmas :) 

Squeezing in some fun!

Life has been crazy busy since preschool started up. It's funny how all summer I was feeling bored and wanting more to do and now I just love the days when we can lounge around all day. I honestly love being busy though. We have been having a ton of fun with our little girl.

Kambree loves to play the piano with me. Especially when she can turn the pages on the book.

We had some friends invite us to go to Trafalaga here in Lehi with them. Kambree loved the rides so much and never got bored or tired. We were up until 11:30 at night.

This is the face she says when she says "cheese" I think we may not haver her say cheese anymore.

We went on the water boats pretty late and decided nobody was going to spray anyone else. That worked out great until some little kids got on right after us and nailed her right in the face.

Kambree is soooooo obsessed with her stuffed animals right now. She has to have all of them go to bed with her and when she gets up all of them have to come out with her. It started with 2 stuffed animals and I think she now has about 10 of them that she lugs around with her everywhere. The best is when she piles them on top of Sequoia and then cuddles with her.

Well it is my 2nd year teaching preschool and I absolutely love it just like last year! It has been a little bit of an adjustment getting use to a younger group, but they sure are adorable. I just love having these little ones twice a week. They sure brighten up my life. One little boy asked me today, "Miss Julie how come you sleep down here?" I was confused at what he was asking so I asked him what he meant by down here and he pointed at the ground. I started to laugh and then told him that I sleep in a bed in my room. Either he thought school didn't have any bedrooms or he thought it was weird that we don't have an upstairs. Not quite sure on that one. :)

Poor Sequoia

Kambree LOVES all animals but she especially loves Sequoia. She follows her around all day long tries to feed her food (which Sequoia doesn't mind as long as she doesn't have to eat fruits or veggies). She climbs on top of her and rides her like a bull. And she pulls her tail and laughs. (She gets put in time out a lot for this). Sequoia just looks at me with the look "please save me" while Kambree is having the time of her life. I usually end up letting Sequoia sleep on our bed all day with the fan blowing on her so she can have some peace and quiet. Wouldn't that be nice to have when you felt overwhelmed from the kiddos? But I have to save I love both of my girls to pieces!

Two TIckle Monsters came for a visit

Sometimes just torturing your kids is way too much fun! She was laughing even harder before I started the video. The best part was after I downloaded it on to the computer she wanted to watch it over and over again and just sat there laughing every time. Party Time

Last weekend was so much fun! Kambree got to go to her first tea party. She looked so cute and even though she was the youngest one there she really seemed to have a great time.

All the little girls were eating so dainty and lady like and Kambree was just guzzling her juice and shoving the finger sandwiches into her mouth. She kept taking her neighbor's food off of her plate. I guess we need to teach her some manners :)

Later that day Mike and Sue came with their kiddos to celebrate Maren and Landen's birthdays. We had so much fun. We had a water party. This was my first time ever doing a slip and slide. (Crazy huh?) It was so much fun but I was sore for about 3 days after. I guess I am getting old now.

So Bree finally got her first hair cut. I didn't take much off but the hair was hanging in her eyes and so I trimmed the bangs and her mullet in the back. I can't believe how red her hair looks in these pictures.

Failed but I still have hope

So I am writing this post mainly for myself so that I can look back one day and realize that I was able to overcome such a big trial. But I also write to tell my friends and family how much I love them for all of their support and love. As many of you know we have to do Invitro to get pregnant. We have been preparing to do it again for the last year and were so excited to get going on it. Everything felt so right. So many answers to our prayers were that it would work and we didn't need to worry about it. But as we started things up and started to go in for appointments we found out that we had 1 egg that was mature enough. Just one????? How on earth could that be right? Last time I had 19, there must have been a mistake. As they loaded me up with even more shots, we prayed and prayed and felt so strongly there would be more. Once again, just the one. Now was the choice to decide if we go ahead with the cycle or cancel. Once again, we felt so strongly it would work, that it was right and we would be blessed. After surgery they told us they got the one but it was mature. We had all the hope in the world only to find out the next day that it never made it to fertilization due to some problems from the doctor trying to retrieve it. We were devastated, hurt, mad, and mainly struggled to have any faith. But how can you NOT have faith and KNOW that God does exist when you look at this adorable face?

I do know that he exists and as I look at the title of my post I think, yes it did fail but it is one step closer to my miracle happening. I know that it will eventually work but it doesn't make it any easier. And it just plain sucks right now. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have prayed for us, called, brought over meals, flowers, cards. I really never wanted anyone to know what was going on but I figure it is nice to have so much love and support during such a difficult time. So THANK YOU again you will never know just how much it meant to me to have your support. And thank you for letting me share a little part of our life with you. 

  

We received all of these flowers within 24 hours. It has definitely brightened my day. I told Jake maybe we should have trials more often :)
